Cercon Heat by DentSply Ceramco / Degussa Dental

cercon_heatCercon Heat is a traditional kiln-type sintering furnace usually purchased with a Cercon Brain milling system, one of the first-generation Zirconia milling systems.  The heating chamber consists of ceramic material distributes heat evenly throughout the chamber.  Cercon recommends a low sinter temperature of 1350°C which they suggest is tuned to their material, but is also important to extend the service life of the furnace and reduce energy costs.  Cercon recommends that zirconia frameworks be placed in the furnace at temperature for a minimum of six hours.  The Cercon Heat system is automatic, first raising the temperature to the minimum sintering temperature and holding for two hours and then gradually reducing the temperature.

COMPARISON: The microSinterWave microwave dental furnaces are powerful upgrades / replacements for the Cercon Heat furnace, and an excellent match for expediting results with the Cercon Dental Zirconia Milling System.  The microwave technology utilized in the microSinterWave ovens can be set for Cercon recommended 1350 degrees, and will produce the hardest possible finished framework at a fraction of the time and energy costs of a traditional electric kiln, usually about 20 minutes as opposed to 8 hours.

COMPATIBLE BLOCKS: The Sintermat 1600 can be used to sinter white or ivory OEM Cercon Base blocks or other Cercon compatible blanks in any size, including the entire line of Cercon-compatible Translucent C-Blocks.
